MCT is a Singapore-focused REIT established with the principal investment objective of investing on a long-term basis, directly or indirectly, in a diversified portfolio of income-producing real estate used primarily for office and/or retail purposes, whether wholly or partially, in Singapore, as well as real estate-related assets. The Manager's key financial objectives are to provide Unitholders with an attractive rate of return on their investment through regular and stable distributions to Unitholders and to achieve long-term growth in DPU and NAV per Unit, while maintaining an appropriate capital structure for MCT. Following the merger of Mapletree Commercial Trust and Mapletree North Asia Commercial Trust, the name of MCT will be changed from "Mapletree Commercial Trust" to "Mapletree Pan Asia Commercial Trust" with effect from 9.00 a.m. on 3 August 2022.
